Activity Duration (according to the flight minutes contracted by the user) Our equipment is in optimal flying conditions. Before starting the activity, the logistics staff or the pilot holds a brief meeting with the clients on the flight track and provides all necessary recommendations.

Program Duration (hours, days) Depending on weather conditions, a user could spend around 1 hour on the activity, including waiting times for service, registration, briefing, performing the activity (depending on the number of minutes chosen by the user), landing, and saying goodbye. Note that access to the track involves climbing a path after reaching the main road or taking a dirt road to the flight site parking if arriving by private transport.

Maximum Number of Participants The activity is one-on-one, meaning each pilot carries only one passenger per flight.

Limitations and Restrictions for the Activity Not suitable for individuals with medical conditions that prevent the practice of aerial sports, such as osteoporosis, hemophilia, spine or knee problems, pregnancy, vertigo, diabetes, grade 2 obesity, hip replacement, seizures, heart problems, resting tachycardia, hyperthyroidism, ventricular extrasystole, dyspnea, recent or current seizures, recent or ongoing psychiatric treatment, fear of heights, post-operative status, recent cosmetic surgery, hypertension or hypotension, and vertigo.

Activity Variety In the morning, thermal currents allow for gaining altitude, while as the day progresses, these become thermodynamic, combining with the mountain breeze. In the afternoon, dynamic currents predominate. In summary, thermal flights are conducted in the morning and dynamic flights in the afternoon, although this can vary by season.

User Behavior During Activities Users must behave respectfully and follow all recommendations from technical staff and pilot instructions.

Minimum Age Required for the Activity Minors must have written authorization from their parents or legal guardian to participate in the activity.

Information on Natural and Cultural Resources of Authorized Areas Information is provided on the geographical aspects of the flight area, such as the altitude and cultural data. Tourist attractions such as waterfalls, the Baldías páramo, Quitasol hill, Medellín river, El Picacho hill, Llano de Ovejas, and the most notable places in the Aburrá Valley are highlighted. Information on sustainable tourism and responsible behaviors is also provided.

Recommendations for the Activity Development Information is given on the take-off and landing process, including recommendations on comfortable clothing, closed shoes, jacket, sunscreen, cap, ID, flight insurance, photographic record, safety on the flight track, location of take-off and landing zones, weather conditions, possible landing sites, and pilot instructions during take-off, flight, and landing.

Rates and Conditions Detailed information on flight rates, available times, and complementary services is provided. The rates clearly specify what is included and what is not in the contracted service.

Equipment to Be Used Each user uses a tandem wing according to the manufacturer’s recommendations, along with a pilot’s seat, emergency parachute, passenger harness, helmets, radio communications, altimeter, GPS, compass, and six carabiners.

Main Risks Involved in Paragliding Paragliding involves risks that can result in incidents or accidents, including injuries, fractures, or even death. Flying is a personal decision and should be made without external influences or pressure.

Important Information Dear visitor, in case of force majeure, such as weather changes or public order issues in the flight area, the activity will be suspended and rescheduled for another date.
